REGULAMENTO DA SÉRIE C DE 2023
O Campeonato Brasileiro Série C é uma competição de futebol realizada anualmente no Brasil, organizada pela Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF). É considerada a terceira divisão do futebol brasileiro e conta com a participação de 20 equipes de diferentes estados do país.
O formato da competição consiste em duas fases. Na primeira fase, as equipes são divididas em dois grupos de dez e jogam entre si em turno e returno. Os quatro primeiros de cada grupo se classificam para a segunda fase, que é disputada em sistema de mata-mata, com jogos de ida e volta até a grande final.
Essas equipes disputam partidas só de ida na primeira fase, chamada de Grupo A. Vale destacar que, dez desses times, jogam nove vezes em casa e dez vezes fora de casa. Depois disso, os oito melhores times, ao fim das 19 rodada, avançam para a disputa dos quadrangulares distintos.
No quadrangular, o Grupo B recebe as equipes 1º, 4º, 5º e 8º da primeira fase, enquanto o Grupo C tem 2º, 3º, 6º e 7º colocados. As equipes se enfrentam dentro de seus grupos em jogos de ida e volta.
O campeão da Série C garante o acesso à Série B do Campeonato Brasileiro, enquanto os quatro últimos colocados são rebaixados para a Série D.
Algumas das equipes que já conquistaram o título da Série C incluem o Paysandu, o Fortaleza, o Sampaio Corrêa, o Joinville e o Vila Nova. A competição é conhecida por ser bastante equilibrada e contar com jogos emocionantes e disputados até o último minuto.
